Recycled Candles

Recycle candle wax. If you have candle wax left over from used candles, especially scented ones why not recycle them & make an awesome scented gift? You will need: 1 med. size pan 1 metal bowl big enough to fit inside pan Candle wax 1 candle wick 1 clean glass jar with wide mouth & lid 3 pieces of ribbon optional: candle fragrance. Small metal strainer Instructions Fill the med size pan to half way with water, place metal bowl inside pan making sure water does not spill over into it. Bring to a slow boil. Add candle wax to bowl & let pan simmer until wax is melted. At this stage you can add candle fragrance. Tie ribbon in a bow around neck of jar. Insert candle wick. Place strainer over mouth of jar & slowly pour melted wax through it & into jar until almost full. Leave to set. Once completely cooled place lid on jar & voila there you have it.
